What is the check-in and check-out process?
Check-in and check-out at Water’s Edge is at noon. We provide detailed instructions prior to your arrival to ensure a smooth process.
What is the car/parking situation?
There is space for 2 cars to park on the property, however the island is fairly small and we recommend getting around by walking, biking, or golf cart. Multiple rental services are available near the ferry terminal. If you do decide to bring your vehicle, you will need to take the car ferry. Schedules and fares can be found HERE.
Are pets allowed at the property?
Sorry, we know that it is hard to leave your pets behind, but we unfortunately have a strict no-pet policy at Water’s Edge.
Is Water’s Edge kid friendly?
This is an adult-oriented home. It is not at all child-proofed; it is perched on a hill directly on the water above rocky terrain, and has several upper decks that are not child safe. An infant in arms is welcome, but other island homes are far better suited for families with children.
What is the cancellation policy?
100% refund if cancelled within first 48 hours. If guests do cancel, and we are able to fill the reservation slot completely, the guests will receive a refund -10% of the total reservation fee.
What amenities are included?
Amenities include wifi, a Frame TV, gas fireplace, washer/dryer, all linens and towels except for beach towels, air conditioning, 2 kayaks and one stand-up paddleboard with life jackets, outdoor patio dining table, and a gas grill
